Our School’s Mission

The mission of The Young Women’s Leadership School of the Bronx is to work in partnership with families and the community to develop leaders in the fields of math, science, technology, the arts and engineering. We nurture the intellectual curiosity and creative spirit inherent in all young womxn as we cultivate a community of lifelong learners who shatter glass ceilings. Our students become advocates who influence public attitudes, policies and laws to create a more socially just society.
